EOTech EXPS3-0: The Professional’s Choice The EOTech EXPS3-0 HWS Tan Holographic Weapon Sight is a lightweight, non-magnifying, optical sight designed for close to mid-range engagements. It provides very fast target acquisition and engagement at short ranges while providing aiming capability out to 300 meters equal to or better than iron sights. The EXPS3 features easy-to-adjust side buttons, a quick-detach lever, and a transversely-mounted lithium CR123A battery. The increased height of the EXPS creates a lower 1/3 cowitness with iron sights. The EXPS3 Holographic HWS requires 2 3/4 inches of rail space at most, thanks to a shortened base. The waterproof and fogproof design will withstand tough environments. The 68 MOA ring with 1 MOA dot provides three usable aiming points. The aiming points above are based on the following load: .223 cal. 62 gr. 2,900 vel. When using other loads and calibers, the operator will have to establish the ranges associated with the aiming points. When using a shotgun, the 68 MOA ring can be used to represent shot patterns but will vary based on choke and shell selection.
