The Becker BK16 Short Drop Point is a solid one piece design featuring a 4 3/8″ flat ground straight edge blade constructed of 1095 Cro-Van steel with a HRC hardness rating of 56-58. The spine has useful jimping to help with control during precise cuts. The BK16 has been flat ground to a 20-degree edge angle maintaining strong edge retention and to provide easy sharpening even in the field. This knife comes with both black and brown Ultramid scale sets that are interchangeable, all necessary mounting hardware is included. The sheath is a heavy-duty MOLLE-compatible Cordura with front cargo pouch. This Short Drop Point, with an overall length of 9 1/4″, is the perfect size for most tasks without being bulky or cumbersome to carry. For a smaller, lighter EDC or camping knife, the BK16 Short Drop Point is ideal as a utility camping knife and a lighter alternative to the BK2/82/92.
