The Midwest Industries AK Picatinny Adapter 5.5mm replaces the standard trunnion with a Mil-Spec 1913 rail. This adapter allows you to add a section of 1913 rail to the rear of any folding trunnion that utilizes the 5.5mm pin. This adapter allows for the use of 1913 style fixed or side folding stocks Installation note – due the varying tolerances common with the AK platform, additional fitting and/or gunsmith installation may be required.
